Jesus Did It Again

Once more God did not failed me; I cried out loud to the Lord to hear me and HE did, just like before when my son Mark was held up and shot by a hold upper and got away with 300.000 Pesos back 12 years ago. It was an agonizing moment for me and my wife that time. He’s been shot for three hours ago when we heard the news. When we reach the hospital I bend my knees at the hall way of the OR with the Bible on my right hand and I prayed” Lord you gave me six (children), please don’t let anyone of them be taken away”. For six hours bleeding to death, without anyone attending, bleeding for so long, his vain has nothing more to throw and should be collapsed by now.  But God heard  my cry and sent the man who owned the hospital. upon seeing my son's condition he said “I’ll do the operation”. This man is a general surgeon, an expert on life and death case operation. My son was saved. When we asked the attending Doctor why the owner come and did the operation, he said,” even all of us were surprise, seldom he come to check us out.  we thought he was not in the country for he is presently  base is in the US.  Today May 28 2011 Jesus ddi it again again to my eldest daughter when she suffered at the hands of that low inexperience midwife (mal) practitioners.  They handled my daughter in a wrong assuming way. It was a terrible decision for them to say “could you bring her to another hospital, we can’t control the bleeding”.  At the other hospital, three doctors joined together to solve the problem, and took them six hours control the bleedings. They’d found out the major mistake committed by the first doctor. It was negligence on their part, and not taking seriously their profession. That causes a life threatening situation. That whole day, shows she is not stabled, she’s not getting better. We are trying to overcome the situation but we really don’t feel it.  Then early in the next morning we received a text that; the cause might be a major damage to a part that can complicate the kidneys. That message drop my knees and as my bible at the right hand, again I said,” Lord you gave me six, don’t let anything take even one them away from me”.  And as I open my Bible, it caught me on Mark 5:21-34. Like Jairus, my daughter is dying,” Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live”. After reading that I felt the answer is now on my Bible, the life retaining solution, the word of the Lord. When I reached the room where my daughter is, I’ve just open the Bible and just read the passages. Then we all felt relief. A minuet later the bleeding and some drops of waters stop.  An hour later the doctor check her up and do you know what’s’ he said” wow it subsided now(the swelling), very good. Do you want to go home now? HALEILUJAH!!!!! Praise the Lord. Thank you my Lord my God and my Friend…….

Once Belong, But Not Real

What is your main reason for being a Christian? Unless it is a Christ-centered reason, you may not really belong. You don't have to settle for less than the best. You can become a loyal, trustworthy follower
.

They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us, but their going showed that none of them belong to us (1 John 2:19 )
The Antichrists were not total strangers to the church, they once belong to it, but they did not continue John does not say why they left; it is clear that their reason for joining in the first place were wrong. Today many people are "Christians" for less than the best reasons. Perhaps going to church is a family tradition. Maybe they like the social and the business contacts they make there. Or possibly going to church is a long standing-habit, and they have never stopped to ask themselves why they do it.

Just Like All The Rest

Those who are wise must finally die, just like the foolish and senseless, leaving all their wealth behind.
Psalm 49 isn’t exactly what you’d call cheery. Its main point is that the rich will die just like everybody else. The psalm ends on this note: “People who boast of their wealth don’t understand; The rich and poor have one thing in common they will die, when they die, they leave all they own here on earth.  Psalm 49 offers us the possibility of looking at our lives differently, of living with deeper purpose and wider vision. Even if we’re not striving for riches, most of us spend generous amounts of time and effort seeking that which, in the end, will be left behind. We worry about so many things that don’t matter when we look at life from the perspective of death’s inevitability. Psalm 49 gives us the chance to see life from the point of view of death, and therefore choose to live with significance. This is a good time to check up on your investments and see where you have invested the most. Then do something about it!

Not wealth. Not position or power. Not even success, as the world defines it. Lives that matter even after death were focused on loving God and loving others. It’s really that simple.

Is God Present In The Place You Live?

Go, inspect the city of Jerusalem, Walk around and count the many towers and tour all the citadels, that you may describe them to the future generations. For that is what God is like. He is our God forever and ever, and He will guide us until we die. (Psalm 48:12-14)
In Psalm 48, Jerusalem is so closely associated with God that it reflects God’s own character. God’s greatness is seen in the height and magnificence of Jerusalem (48:2). God reveals himself as a defender in the towers of this city (48:3). The “fortified walls” and “citadels” of Jerusalem tell present and future generations that God is strong, protective, and permanent (48:12-13).

Does it make any
sense in today’s world to think of a city as somehow reflecting the character of God? Many of us, I expect, think of cities as places of commerce, commotion, and crowds. We hear of great cities with declining populations and crumbling school systems. Surely, therefore, if we want to experience God, we must flee from the city to the country, where we can find rest and beauty.“To build a great city for all people through a gospel movement that brings personal conversion, community formation, social justice and cultural renewal to the world.”
Whether you live in a giant metropolis or a small town, you have the opportunity to live out your faith in such a way that God is present in the place you live. Through acts of kindness and demonstrations of love, through speaking and living the truth, and through doing justice according to God’s Word, you can help your city or town be a place that reflects the very character of God.

Doing The Work Of God’s Kingdom

When Jesus told his disciples that they could “walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them,” he wasn’t talking about literal critters. Rather, these pests represented the “power of the enemy” and, in particular, “evil spirits” (10:19-20). You see, the seventy-two disciples whom Jesus had sent out to do the work of the kingdom returned to him, excited that they had power over demons (10:17). Jesus reaffirmed that he had given them authority over “snakes and scorpions.” Then he added, “But don’t rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven” (10:20).
When we’re doing the work of God’s kingdom, it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of our victories. There’s just about nothing more wonderful in life than being used by God to heal someone or bring that person into a saving relationship with Christ. It’s natural to be glad when God works through us. But we must remember that being used by God in this way is a result of something more profound and eternally significant. God works through those whose “names are registered in heaven” (10:20).Evidence of God’s power in our lives confirms the fact that we are citizens of his kingdom, that we belong to him for eternity. And this, Jesus said, is a matter for profuse rejoicing.

Can you think of times in your life when God used you in a wonderful way? Did your rejoicing in that situation remind you that you belong to God? As you experience God’s good gifts in your life, does this draw you closer to the Lord? Why or why not

For All Who Love God Only

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them, who are called according to his purpose.(Romans 8:28).
God works out all things-not just isolated incidents, for our good. This does not mean that all that happens to us is good. Evil is prevalent in our fallen world, but God is able to turn it around for our long-range good. Note that God is not working to make us happy, but to fulfill his purpose. Note also that this promise is not for everybody, it can be claimed only by those who love God and are fitting into God's plans. Such people have a new perspective, a new mindset on life. They trust God, not life treasures; they look to their security in heaven, not on earth, they learn .to accept pain and persecution on earth, not resent it, because it brings them closer to God.

They May Refer To Me As Lord,

As we can see, almost all people know already Jesus, but not all believe. They thought he's just like some of those other gods. So they put him in the alliance of gods in their minds and at their altars, a collection of icons. Our experience and our testimonies can make a difference, in their knowledge about Christ. That is the reason why we are in this present time. If we can share that he is alive and working in our lives, may be they will put their trust in him and put their faith in our God. The day of his return will soon be here. So quit the evil deeds of darkness and put on the armor of right living, as we who live in the daylight should! Be decent and true in everything you do so that all can approve your behavior. Don’t spend your time in wild parties and getting drunk or in adultery and lust. The gospel is not only what we believe, but also how we must live. The Holy Spirit leads us in faithfulness, so we can avoid lust and fraud. The Holy Spirit helps us to remain strong in faith, able to show genuine love to others and maintain our moral character even we are being persecuted, slandered, or oppressed. We must stand still and don't be move. Continue to share your blessing and the goodness you received from God; they needed that to believe.
" Not all who sound religious are really godly people. They may refer to me as Lord,' but still won't get to heaven. For the decisive question is whether they obey my Father in heaven.(Matt.7:21)

Proclaim God's Greatness

Because you said:" The Nile is mine! I made it!" therefore I am against you and your river and I will utterly destroy the land of Egypt, from Migdol to Syene, as far south as the border of Ethiopia. ( Ezekiel 29:10 ).
The Nile was Egypt's pride and joy, a life-giving river cutting through the middle of the desert. Rather than thanking God however, Egypt declared,"The Nile is mine". We do the same when we say "This house is mine; I built it". or "I have brought myself to the place where I am today". or I have built this church, business, or reputation, from the ground up." These statements reveal our pride. We sometimes take for granted what God has given us, thinking we have made it ourselves. Of course, we have put forth a lot of hard effort, but God supplied the resources, gave us the abilities, and provided us with the opportunities to make it happen. Instead of claiming our own greatness, as the Egyptians did, we should proclaim God's greatness and give him the credit.
Today we continually receiving God's blessing  and grace for our life, enough to say thank you Lord every minute, every hour every day.Are we proclaiming all these things ours? Our God is great.  Its about time to consider the love of God for us is doing all this favor. Why don't we say that to ourselves, to our neighbors so that they will know our God is alive and doing things that is good for us. Proclaim God's Goodness Christians!!!!!!

Christianity Is Not Limited

:We are to go whether it is next door or to another country. We have received gifts that we can use in helping to fulfill the Great Commission. As we obey we have comfort in the knowledge that Jesus is always with us. Christianity is not limited to any race or group of people. Christ offers salvation to all people without regard to nationality. God work's all kinds of miracles to spread the gospel, using many languages as He calls all people to become His followers. No matter what your race, color, nationality or language. God speaks to you. Are you listening? A personal testimony is an effective method for convincing people to follow a cause or buy a product. When people see change lives and watch God's power at work. They will come from far and wide to worship him. Those close to you should be able to see God at work in your life, in your words, and in your actions. Living faith makes a difference. Make sure your faith is more than just a statement; it should also result in action. Be alert to ways to put your faith to work. Testify and share Jesus to every one.
When we tell others about Christ, it is important always to be gracious in what we say. No matter how much sense the message make, we lose our effectiveness if we are not courteous. Just as we like to be respected, we must respect others if we want them to listen to what we have to say.

Our Testimony Can Make A Difference

As we can see, almost all people know already Jesus, but not all believe. They thought he's just like some of those other gods. The Holy Spirit helps us to remain strong in faith, able to show genuine love to others and maintain our moral character even we are being persecuted, slandered, or oppressed. We are HIS witnesses, we must continue to share HIS love and HIS blessing.

Is JESUS in the house?

We must communicate our strong faith to everyone. We must not hide our light at home. Let you parents, children, spouse, brothers and sisters know of your faith in Jesus and be sure they see Christ's love, helpfulness and joy in you..
If our faith in Christ is real, it will usually prove itself at home, in our relationship with those who know us best. Children should honor their parents even if the parents are demanding and unfair. Parents should care gently for their children, even if the children are disobedient and unpleasant. Christian parents and children will relate to each other with thoughtfulness and love. This will happen if both parents and children put others interests above their own; that is, if they submit to one another.
Jesus said; a house divided against itself will fall. Luke 11:17. Members of every Christian households must always be together and united. Agreement is Amen, and Jesus is the Amen of God. in maintaining harmony and blessing at home, there must be an Amen. Is JESUS in the house?

Let's Get Real, Take off the mask

Some Christians are often insecure about their own spiritual shortcomings. Why? For one thing, in too many of our biggest and most visible churches, we see role models who appear to have everything. These prosperity gospel preachers smile all the time and talk about how God wants to prosper us,” no matter what” Taking verses out of context, they spread the poisonous belief that God wants us to be happy, healthy, and wealthy, and there’s something wrong with us if we don’t have that sacred triune wrapped up. The sad result is that instead of talking about our problems openly and feeling as if church were the perfect place to share our brokenness, we’ve swallowed the lie that we have to get "gussied up" to interact with other Christians!
In Romans 8:35- 39  These verses contain one of the most comforting promises in all scripture. Believers have always had to face hardship in many forms; persecution, illness, imprisonment, even death. These could cause them to fear that they have been abandoned by Christ. Christian community should provide a place where broken people get healed, not where we feel wrong for expressing our humanness. The simple truth is, Jesus is perfect—not us. The work of our sanctification is ongoing, and we live on a fallen, messy planet. Isn’t it time to take off our masks and be real. Although we pray that God will supply all our needs materially, we must recognize the Bible's teaching that God may allow his children to experience time of need in order to be encouraged to trust Him more and to develop our faith, spiritual endurance and ministry.
